APPLICATION

• Typed cover page must include:

  • Name

  • Home address

  • Home phone

  • Organization/School name

  • Organization/School address

  • Organization/School phone

  • If a teacher, include: County where you teach, Grade level taught, Subject(s) taught, Principal's name
     

• Your plans should follow the cover page and must include:
  
  1.  Project title with brief explanation.
  
  2.  Targeted audience, grade level, course, and number of individuals/ students involved.
  
  3.  Purpose of the project (how will it enhance agricultural education?).
  
  4.  Goals/Objectives of the project (specific, measurable).
  
  5.  Brief plan for implementing the project which includes:

  • Building background

  • Introducing the lesson/project

  • Implementing the lesson/project

  • Summarizing the lesson/project

  • Evaluation of the lesson/project

  6.  Budget which lists all materials needed to complete the project.  Include item description, quantity, source, unit cost, and total funding request.  List specific resources with titles and publishers of any materials that will be used (publications, CD roms, computer programs, etc.).  Each project may receive up to $400.  Money may not be used to purchase major equipment or pay honorariums.  Requests will not be considered without a detailed budget.
