Westminster Conference Center
Ag in the
Classroom is one of those "you had to be there"
kinds of experiences. I
came for the credits and stayed for the fun,
the adventure, the learning,
camaraderie, and the eye-opening,
enthusiasm building adventures that are needed
to go back
to the classroom in the fall and do the job the children and I
have
come to expect.
Explore agriculture first-hand on field trips and
through hands-on activities that can easily be infused into curriculum areas
such as math, science, language arts, and social studies. Workshops
provide a wealth of resources and ideas to use in the classroom . . . ideas
which make learning fun for kids and motivates them to participate in the
learning process.

I have never been
to such an organized workshop. But more than that,
I have never felt so valued as a teacher. The respect shown
for
the profession was infused throughout the workshop!
This was
the only workshop where absolutely everything was
provided,
including food and shelter.
