Mobile Science Lab Teacher
MAEF is now accepting applications for teaching positions on the Mobile Science Lab for the 2012-2013 school year. Applicants should possess an interest in promoting the importance of agriculture in our daily lives in an educational setting. Other assets include flexibility, strong behavior management skills, willingness to travel (sometimes overnight), and the ability to capture student interests and present lessons in an engaging manner. Teaching degree preferred. This position is part-time on an as-needed basis working with elementary aged students (K-5). This is the perfect opportunity for a retiring teacher who has left the classroom but still wants to interact with students.

Showcase Attendant
MAEF is looking for a host or hostess to staff our Agriculture Showcase at fairs and festivals around the state. The opportunity is on a part time, as needed basis mainly during the summer months with some weekends during the spring and fall. The individual needs to be reliable, enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, and knowledgeable about agriculture with your own transportation.
